Quietly is private by default. We don't sell data — ever. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. The data controller is Quietly Health Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
What we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, and password hash.
- Quiz answers: the responses you give in the onboarding quiz, used to personalise your plan.
- Billing data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Community content: posts, replies and reactions you create inside the private community.
- Usage data: basic analytics about how the site is used (pages visited, device type). We use this to improve the product.
- Pseudonymous local identifier: we store a pseudonymous local identifier in your browser to recognise return visits and improve analytics. This identifier doesn't contain personal information.
Lawful basis
We process your data under UK GDPR on the basis of (a) the contract with you (your membership), (b) your explicit consent for any sensitive information you volunteer, and (c) our legitimate interest in running and improving the service.
Who we share with
Sub-processors we use to run Quietly: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database & auth), Cloudflare (hosting), and email-delivery providers. They are bound by data-processing agreements. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
The community is anonymous
You don't need to use your real name or face inside Quietly. We strongly recommend you don't.
How long we keep data
Account and community data: for as long as your membership is active, then 12 months after cancellation before deletion.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@quietly.health. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
